More S.D. desserts to try (Desserts #1-3)

I changed my mind. The series I was gonna launch has now been renamed “More S.D. desserts to try”. Reason? I noticed most of ’em don’t have Easter/pastel colors, so the original title “Desserts for Easter” would have been entirely misleading, and I certainly couldn’t wouldn’t do that. Any other holiday like Labor Day and maybe Thanksgiving, but not Easter, it woulda been un-Christianlike.

That said, these light springtime desserts are delightful. I love their small portions. So if you’re looking for a sample-size bites with subtle flavors, Sage French Cake (in San Diego) is the place.

Silly me for not removing the plastic covering before snapping pics. Of course, this was before I even had a blog and knew better.

Clockwise from top left: Mistral (made with raspberry and white chocolate), Caramel Mousse (sugar with heavy cream), Mousse Chocolat (semi-sweet chocolate)
