These boots were made for…
…Shopping!
Yes, it’s true: Everything IS bigger in Texas.
The very first time I spotted this pair of boots, Chip and I were on Interstate 410 when I blurted out, “Oh wow, LOOK at those boots!” Chip totally missed out on gawking at the 40-feet tall Texas-sized boots (him being a careful driver and all :p).
Chip has since seen these boots at least a dozen times now. Me? I’ve been up close to ’em…to snap these photos! I’m fairly sure a number of drivers had seen ME up close doing just that. LOL.
This “landmark” pair is in front of North Star Mall in San Antonio, home to a Dillard’s, JC Penney, Macy’s, and Saks Fifth Avenue, as well as an Apple Store, Abercrombie & Fitch, Build-A-Bear Workshop, Clarks, Coach, Dallas Cowboys Pro Shop, Guess, Michael Kors, and Williams-Sonoma….and countless other stores.

PS: Another mall here in San Antonio (in downtown, where the River Walk intersects it) is absolutely beautiful during the holidays…
