Stunning Waikiki Beach

Sightseeing Day #3…

Number one on the agenda was….the world-famous Waikiki Beach. The walk from Courtyard by Marriott Waikiki took about 10 minutes (about a half mile)…

“Point B” (above map) is where we cut through this Beach Access walkway…

Yippee, not long now!
The Sheraton Waikiki is in the background

Heaven meets planet Earth here, on this spot, this very view…

That’s Diamond Head Crater

See those orange umbrellas on the left? Chipster and I were headed there!

Thanks to Google Maps, here’s an illustration of our short walk (from the Beach Access walkway) to the orange umbrellas on Waikiki Beach…

I’m totally convinced Waikiki Beach has something fun for everyone….you could surf, sail, swim, soak in the sun’s rays, people-watch, etc.

I wish we could’ve stayed longer (I love the ocean), but we had a full day ahead of us at Pearl Harbor. On our way back to the hotel, I noticed the late native Hawaiian singer/entertainer, Don Ho, has his own street…

Yesterday was Tapioca Pudding Day (I have a recipe!), so I best keep the ball rolling.
