I rounded-up all the goodies at Starbucks I’ve munched on (besides Pumpkin Bread and Lemon Loaf) during the summer when I lived super close to one in Memphis. I pretty much spent all my free time there, and then some. :p
I wish I could pick out a “fave” from these, but I just can’t. They’re all outstanding in their own way.
Apple Fritter
“An apple pastry spiced with cinnamon and covered in icing” (All the descriptions are from the Starbucks website)
Blueberry Streusel Muffin
“A delicate, moist breakfast muffin loaded with plump, juicy blueberries”
Old-Fashioned Glazed Doughnut
“A doughnut glazed with delicious sweet icing”
Petite Vanilla Bean Scone
“A moist, bite-sized scone flavored with natural vanilla extract and real vanilla beans”
Reduced-Fat Cinnamon Swirl Coffee Cake
“A coffee cake made with premium cinnamon”
Reduced-Fat Very Berry Coffee Cake
“A crumble-top coffee cake made with blackberries, blueberries and raspberries”
I feel like the vanilla scone lacked texture, something to bite, chew on, crunch… Most sweet scones will have fruit or nuts for that reason, but that scone was completely one dimensional.
