Desserts for Valentine’s Day (Desserts #7 & #8)

I know it’s past Valentine’s Day and that’s why I gave myself some leeway in posting all the yummy desserts in San Diego I was incredibly fortunate enough to try (and you should too!). On a separate note, we’ve had some hideous weather here in Memphis like snow, sleet, and freezing rain over the past few weeks. Freezing temps and me don’t get along so well. We’re bitter enemies. A few people have been kindly reminding me it’ll start warming back up in late March. A whole 6 weeks away! Brrrrr! I blame my wimpiness on growing up in Southern Cali where the sun’s out 10 months out of the year. A typical winter doesn’t usually dip down below 50 degrees, and I can guarantee you’ll spot at least one person wearing shorts.

Enough about my weather woes. Let’s get back to business!

Can I interest you in desserts dipped in chocolate? Yeah, thought so. These are from Edelweiss Bakery in Mira Mesa (San Diego). They looked tempting in the display case, and I’m ashamed to say I succumbed. ;P
