I made Pumpkin Crumb Cake left and right last year. The year before that, it was pumpkin pie (using real pumpkin) every few weeks. This year, I am changing the game, so to speak, by trying different pumpkin recipes. Well, the other night, I made Pumpkin Spice Cake. I’m thinking Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Muffins for next time, but that’s getting ahead of myself. LOL.
The inspiration for trying this recipe was www.jennybakes.com. I made a couple of tweaks from her own Pumpkin Spice Cake recipe and voila! This cake is yummy. It’s moist, flavorful from the four seasonings I used. It’s an excellent way to kick-start this pumpkin craze of mine.
I experimented by adding Pumpkin Pie Spice to my glaze and wowza. It was life-changing. 🙂
