Halloween cookies and cinnamon rolls (& chocolate-covered cookies)
So I’m only 3 weeks late, but I’m really, truly trying to get caught up in posting…
Last month, I just knew these cookies would help me get in the spirit of Halloween.

Orange and semi-sweet morsels. Pretty gnarly, if you ask me!

They’re a bit on the tiny side. If you know me, I like huuuuge cookies.

The cookies tasted okay; I brought them to work, and they didn’t seem to mind.

And not just any cinnamon rolls–Halloween cinnamon rolls! Bwuhahahah. *cue scary music*

The orange-flavored icing didn’t taste any different from the regular. I ate one right after the other. Shhhhh.

I also made these bite-size chocolate-covered butter cookies:

I bought a package of inexpensive butter cookies and dipped ’em in melted semi-sweet morsels.

I don’t have a double boiler anymore, so I used a glass mixing bowl set atop a pot of boiling water.

Ugh, next time, I’ll use a double boiler. It’s a lot less hassle.

My next post will be Moon Mountain Torte.
