Dreamin’ of a Dessert Xmas -> New Year (Dessert #13)

It’s a wrap!

13 amazing desserts *only* available in the city I grew up in. 13 different desserts that have made my toes curl. 13 desserts worth visiting my hometown in order to indulge once again.

Last, but not least, here’s lucky #13. I can’t even count how many times I’ve gotten a slice from Krakatoa coffeehouse near downtown.

The slices are always huuuge.  I “measured” it once and ’twas just shy of 3 inches (a Post-It note was my “ruler”). Its size, the moist cake layers, and the espresso in the frosting makes for incredible bites into heaven. What I wouldn’t do for a slice right now!
