Dreamin’ of a Dessert Xmas -> New Year (Desserts #8 & #9)

Nuit. That’s French for “night”.

While nighttime is something that happens each and every day due to the earth’s rotation, I wish I could say the same for having this dessert.

Oh nooooo!!! I just read that Mille Feuille in San Diego closed down over the summer.

Guess these pics now serve as a joyous memory.

An almond dacquoise layered with 70% Swiss dark chocolate and crunchy feuilletine coated with an intense dark chocolate glaze
