New Year’s Celebration
Best believe I was good last year. I had a wonderful Christmas and felt compelled to ring in the New Year with a bang of the chocolate variety. Come to think of it, could have been hormonal. :p
I was in downtown and decided to pop in Peabody Deli & Desserts. If nothing tickled my fancy there, I’d head over to Cheesecake Corner (in the South Main Historic District) where something would surely beckon me.
It was tough deciding, but I went with not one, but two desserts at Peabody.
Chocolate mousse with a shot of crème brulée
The dessertie in me wants to lick that white chocolate right off
Um, forget I said that, please

The chocolate wafer/cookie at the base tasted like a Nestle Crunch bar
Banana Oreo Cheesecake
Rich banana flavor with crushed Oreo crust
A most excellent way to begin the new year!
Don’tcha agree? :p
You can see the white chocolate “cigarette” sticking out in the back
Duh! It just dawned on me that this is the cane to match the top hat! LOL
Next up will be Gingerbread Village.
