REVIEW: Chocolate Napoleon (& duck statue too!)

Parts of my 5th date with Jeff was déjà vu. Take, for instance, lunch. We went to Kooky Canuck (just like our 1st date). Then, we spent the afternoon shopping. Actually, Jeff was doing all the shopping for Xmas presents. I was tagging along. He needed a bodyguard, in case the other shoppers decided to bum-rush him for the same item he was reaching for. I was his protection detail. I did a pretty good job too ’cause he came through unscathed.

My treat for being a good sport was The Fresh Market…where, déjà vu yet again, we practically had the same desserts as our 3rd date. Not that I was complaining, mind you.

If the first 2 pics look familiar, it’s ’cause I’m re-using them from my 3rd date…..but the last dessert’s new (it was Jeff’s pick).
