Chocolate Peppermint Bread with Candy Cane Glaze

On New Year’s Eve, when my SIL said she had a bread mix we could make together, I thought, “Sure, why not”. Maybe it’s because most pre-made mixes aren’t anything to write home about—meaning my expectations were low, LOL—but I had to eat my words/thoughts ’cause this bread (actually more of a cake than bread) is delicious!

After we glazed the bread

The bread is moist, and the glaze has the perfect amount of chopped candy canes; so you taste chocolate, peppermint and candy canes. A most wonderful holiday dessert!

Get a load of this yumminess!!!
The bread has no *yellow* whatsoever; no flash + low-lighting = strange shadows, LOL

My SIL bought it from Henry’s Farmers Market. I’m already planning on dropping in at the store near me for other LollipopTree mixes!

Did I mention that I’ve dubbed my SIL “Martha Stewart”?
