RANDOM PHOTOS: US Grant Hotel

For about a month now, the red and green lights have been shining on the US Grant Hotel in downtown San Diego, across Horton Plaza. It looks amaaaazing at night!!! You instantly get in a festive, Christmas mood. This photo really doesn’t do it justice considering I snapped it minutes after sunset.

The hotel is just shy of 100 years old, having opened in October 1910.

I found an old-timey photo of the hotel. For the most part, it still looks the same. Even the fountain across the street is still there!
