I think I’m done for. In-N-Out has ruined me for other burgers. And it’s not like I’m not really trying to find something comparable either. Heck, I’d tried Superior Restaurant & Bar’s. Huey’s came highly recommended by several people, and from restaurant reviews as well.
I was ready. I wanted to be won over. I want my life to be whole again.
If there is one word I’d use to describe their burger, it is “huge”. Try wrapping your mouth around this 1/3 pound patty and thick bun. They definitely don’t skimp on the veggies either.
“World Famous Huey Burger”
This was actually the cook’s second try to get it right. I like my burgers cooked medium well, but it came out on the “well” side the first go ’round. The waiter happily returned it back to the kitchen. Pssst. Here’s where I say I utterly dread sending food back because “you never know”, if ya catch my drift.
Overall, the burger is overrated but……..I’d be willing to give it another shot. In the meantime, there goes my hopes of sleeping soundly at night.
This was dessert:
“The Rockslide!”
Light textured brownie topped with caramel, piled high with brownie cubes, toasted pecans, drizzled with milk chocolate ganache
While this dessert is good, I was a li’l put-off. Am I the only one who thinks it could pass for another type of food? I’ll give ya hint: Canine. I shoulda warned ya how warped I can be.
