FUN PIC: Krispy Kreme with all the fixins
After my Krispy Kreme review, I got curious (I’m always curious, no surprise there) and learned there’s a “Luther Burger” named after the late R&B singer-songwriter Luther Vandross!!! It’s a bacon cheeseburger between a Krispy Kreme donut! 1,000 calories and 45 grams of fat! *gulp*

Even Paul Deen has her own burger–“Lady’s Brunch Burger”. Lordy! Here’s the video clip. Now I’m not a calories counter, I eat in moderation. (Yes, even with my obvious love of desserts, I hardly eat the stuff in one sitting unless of course I saved room). And maybe it’s just me, but there’s just something inherently wrong with eating a hamburger patty…or fried eggs… or bacon (or a combo of all three!) with a DONUT. Does anyone else see how vile this is? Before anyone says I don’t know what I’m talking about, you’re right, I don’t. I haven’t tried it. And just maybe it’s absolutely delectable. Okay, that’s it! It’s settled. If I ever come across one of these Krispy Kreme Burgers, so far only 3 places serve it (Mulligan’s Bar in Decatur, Georgia; GCS Ballpark in Sauget, Illinois; The Mallards “Duck Pond” in Madison, WI), I’ll take a bite or two… or three…and I’ll report back here! 🙂
