The planets are aligned. Angels are rejoicing. All is right in the world again.
I finally found a burger that puts pep in my step; that’s music to my ears; that’s all thaaaat, plus tax. No longer will my burger cravings go unsatisfied.
While the other contenders, Huey’s, and Superior Restaurant and Bar, were good, I give the edge to Kooky Canuck.

So for dessert–c’mon, you knew it was comin’, right?–I headed around the corner to a chain restaurant I hadn’t been to in yearssss, TGI Friday’s (not here in Memphis, another state). Ever since they did away with Chocolate Caramel Crunch Cake, it just hasn’t been the same. And to think I used to have a slice every week. C’est la vie!
I think it was been replaced by this:
Sometimes, presentation’s everything!
Peanut butter graham cracker crust filled with layers of chocolate ganache and fluffy peanut butter mousse topped with whipped cream and a Reese’s peanut butter cup
Don’t you just wanna lick the caramel and chocolate sauce? I know I do.

While this pie was tasty, it doesn’t quite measure up to my long-gone Chocolate Caramel Crunch Cake. *sniffle*
Had to walk off all the added calories, and downtown Memphis is just the place to do it:
Hampton Inn & Suites
Corner of 3rd Street & Peabody Place
Peabody Place mall
Right across the street from Hampton Inn & Suites
Beale Street and Second Street
The fun’s about to begin on Beale
