It’s “Turtle Pie”…
From the “City Market” on corner of Union Avenue and Main Street
This is weird. Not the dessert, mind you. I kinda get the feeling that I’ve had this pie before….but from somewhere else…and called something else. Hmmm.
Doesn’t this very next photo *look* like the Turtle Pie?
It’s “Pecan Fudge Pie” from Mesquite Chop House

Both of ’em certainly have similar features like the fudgy texture…

The funny thing is City Market and Mesquite Chop House are not even a block away from each other.
The main differences are City Market’s slices are bigger and a couple of dollars less too
(shhhh, you didn’t hear that from me though)
