The King William Fair was a little over a month ago. It’s an annual event in the King William Historic District here in San Antonio (I’ll post photos of gorgeous houses in the coming weeks).
Chip and I went in the afternoon, and totally missed the parade kicking-off the festivities. Besides having cool crafts on sale, a live band, and yummy food, it’s a great way to spend a few hours.
‘Twas also where I got the idea of buying a fanny pack for our recent trip to Hawaii.
Yay, three ticket booths ahead! We’re almost there!
This is where the f-u-n began (thanks Google Maps!) Notice the river (in blue)?
There are wide sidewalks to walk along the Riverwalk (especially in or near downtown)
The two vendor booths that caught my attention….
Antler wine bottle stoppers
Pebble stones pots
Texas Flag Canopy and Dallas Cowboys Tailgate Chair
Ohhh yessss, fish tacos!
They were a bit on the spicy side I’m a spice wuss, but Chipster, who’s not, loved them
The Say She Ate food truck
Their menu board Any guesses as to what I had a hankering for? :p
Duck Fat Fries
Blue Cheese & Bacon Deviled Eggs OMG, these were sooooo good! I’m still dreamin’ about ’em!
