RANDOM PHOTO: Gray skies over Downtown

Contrary to popular belief, San Diego doesn’t have glorious weather each and every day. It’s not always blue skies with clouds and sunshine. We get mild rain and overcast days like other cities…just less frequently is all. Every once in awhile, it’ll rain cats and dogs, like one December afternoon when Mother Nature unleashed her fury. Not terribly fun when you’re behind the wheel–as I was at the time–trying to get from Point A to B, in one solid piece.

So this is for those of you who can’t fathom we have dreary days too.
