You know you’re in for some fun times when you reach B.B. King’s Blues Club on the corner of Beale and Second Street here in Memphis.
Seeing this means you have *arrived* 🙂
Two night shots from a whole ‘nother day…
Jeff had taken this during our 3rd date (His camera takes better night pics)
The party’s just gettin’ started! Another hour the sidewalks will be jam-packed!
I was in the mood for dessert (hmmm, when am I not?).
When the menu states, “Homemade and baked to order and topped with sliced bananas and house-made caramel sauce. Please allow 12-14 minutes for this dessert, it will be worth the wait”, is there any *real* reason to continue pondering the choices? Â
Banana Bread Pudding
Topped with caramel sauce, mmmm
As much as I enjoy sunlight, it doesn’t always *cooperate* when I’m snapping pics. You’ll see what I mean.
The “History” page of the menu
See the bottom portion where you can barely read the words? After wasting a few clicks and seeing a faint image on my viewfinder, some “shading” was necessary! Gosh, the things I do for this blog!
Used my left hand to hold up the menu (I’m normally a two-handed photographer)… Who knew coordination was part of the requirements for being a blogger?!
…And this here was my reward for the few minutes of inconvenience! :p The banana flavor was subtle, but deliiiicious!
Next post will absolutely, positively, unequivocally be about Bass Pro Shops moving into the Memphis Pyramid. I was waiting on Jeff’s feedback ’cause he can spend HOURS inside a Bass Pro Shop.
