Compared to my first Dreamy Dessert’s presentation factor, these two are remarkably understated. But don’t let that fool you.
Imagine, if you will, a light white sponge cake layered with strawberries and topped with white chocolate shavings. That’s exactly what Strawberry Bagetelle is. And while light desserts are normally ideal during the Spring and Summer months, this can be enjoyed any time of year. It’s red and white so the colors match perfectly with the current holiday season.
Strawberry Bagatelle Layers of white sponge cake dabbed with kirsch syrup, filled with Bavarian cream and fresh strawberries, topped with a thin layer of marzipan or white chocolate shavings.
Spring Basket Cup and Strawberry Bagatelle
The Spring Basket Cup is an edible chocolate cup filled with a rich chocolate mousse. And as if that wasn’t enough, raspberries, blackberries and a piece of white chocolate garnish this “basket”.
