Let’s start with the Tart. You’d think with those 3 ingredients, one might distinctly outdo the other, but it doesn’t. And it’s not cavity-making sweet either. When I first read the display sign, I thought either the strawberry or caramel would overpower the others…well, I couldn’t be more wrong.
Ahh, the raspberry/chocolate truffle….where do I begin?! Hazelnut crust with a layer of raspberry, then chocoooolate. All that topped with a macadamia nut. Oh. My.
When words escape me concerning desserts, that’s your clue that it’s mmmmm goood.
Behind the display cases are croissants, muffins, and other tempting pastries. They’re more like a cafe because they also sell sandwiches and breads and I think I saw a sign for espresso (don’t quote me on this) when I walked in from the back entrance. The next time around, I’ll have one of their cupcakes and flourless cakes. Maybe. LOL. It’s going to be tough steering me away from this tart and truffle if they’re available.
