Goodness gracious, great balls of fire! The past two days were scorchers. Temps sizzled near 100. The heat index made being outdoors even for a few minutes extremely uncomfortable. Gosh, someone remind me again why I left the awesome San Diego weather? Oh that’s right, the job market is despicable over there on top of the gnarly cost of living.
Because it’s been blazingly hottt, I’m dedicating this post (read: giving due props) to all the firefighters who are exposed to excruciatingly higher temperatures (than the silly 100 degrees I’m complaining about) as they’re putting their lives on the line. In honor of firefighters both living and deceased, I’d like to present the Fire Museum of Memphis.
With the exception of the 1st and 3rd photo, I’ll let the photographs speak for themselves.
