Giveaway: Choose from three $25 gift cards

Just like it took me forever to pick out a chocolate pie recipe, many hours passed–er, okay days!–of painstakingly contemplating what my 2nd giveaway should be.  At first I was set on a $25 NFLShop.com gift card, well, because it’s Football season that’s why!  Then, I thought that maybe no one’s really interested in a shirt or hat or sports paraphernalia, so I considered throwing in a $5 Subway gift card which would cover a $5 Footlong sandwich (in keeping with the Football theme!).  There IS a method to my madness, y’know!

Then I teetered into the whole Fall season because the temps are dropping (the irony is I live in Southern California so we have somewhat consistent weather here, LOL), so I felt an Applebees gift card would be cool. Fall…Apples…get it?

Of course I couldn’t forget that Oktoberfest is going on in Germany, which I’ll hopefully get to experience one day. Not for the booze, but for the sheer experience of being there and maybe sipping a few different brewskis. Yes me, the I-rarely-drink-alcohol chick achin’ to participate in a beer festival! Go figure!

The Fall season sorta just started, so I’ll stick with Football and pass on Applebee’s…and go for Subway’s Footlong sandwiches!

Have I lost you yet? Yeah, I told you I was a mess this past week. In keeping with all the wonderful happ’nings in the world (Football, Oktoberfest)…….I decided this (once I got my bearings):

I’m giving away ONE of the following, it will be YOUR choice:

• $25 NFLShop.com gift card – where you can shop online for your team’s T-shirts, hats, DVDs, jerseys, collectibles, etc.
• $25 Rock Bottom Restaurant & Brewery gift card (Please note: they’re only in 15 states) – cheers!
• $25 Subway gift card – where you can “eat fresh”

All you need to do is “Post a Comment” answering the following:

1) What is your favorite NFL team or College football team or both!

2) What’s your favorite alcoholic beverage – be specific, like don’t just say beer or wine, tell us the brand!

3) What do you order at Subway or if you’ve never been there, what you usually like on your sandwiches!

4) Which gift card you’d like to receive if you’re deemed the winner–NFLShop.com, Rock Bottom Restaurant & Brewery, or Subway

And since I’m on a roll, my answers are:
1) I used to like The Cowboys a lot, now I prefer watching college football. I don’t have a fave team per se, but I do like 2 Georgia teams–Tech & Bulldogs!

2) One of my best friends makes the best Midori Sours, and I’ll occasionally down those. Otherwise if I’m in a restaurant/bar and in a drinking mood (few and far between), I’ll order a Strawberry Daiquiri.

3) The last couple of times I ordered at Subway, I had the Oven Roasted Chicken Breast with provolone cheese, lettuce, tomato, light on the olives & pickles. No sauce whatsoever or vinegar.

Wowza, Subway was the unanimous choice; absolutely no takers for the NFLShop.com and Rock Bottom Brewery!! It was a guy friend who persuaded me to have the NFLShop.com gift card as one of the prize options. He was convinced there’d be lots of sports fans clamoring over it. I’ll have to break it to him he was wrong. LOL. I think this pretty much rules out offering sports gift cards as prizes in the future.

Second surprise is 3 of you (4 including me) are Cowboys fans! Woohoot!

With all this talk of strawberry daiquiris, margaritas, Coors & Bud Light, vodka, pina colada…I’m sooo drinking this week.
