Pineapple Split

Pineapple Split at the Dole Plantation in Wahiawa (on the island of Oahu)

Mere minutes after Chip and I arrived and ready to begin touring the plantation grounds last year, this enormous dessert was set down on a table (to be shared amongst a small group).  I stopped in my tracks and asked if I could snap a shot or two.  They all seemed to be flattered by my asking, but I was just as thrilled as they were.  Pineapple whip, hot fudge, strawberries, coconut….the four basic food groups. :p

About an hour later, I enjoyed my own Dole Whip Cup with pineapple chunks, which was only 1/6 the size of this Pineapple Split. LOL
