Christmas Trolley

After several attempts, I finally got the chance to ride the Christmas Trolley! Jumping on any trolley if you’re on Main Street (downtown Memphis) is usually not a problem. The longest I’ve ever had to wait is maybe 10 minutes. But if you’re looking for a *specific* one that’s decked out with holiday decorations and lights, it may take some luck and inquiring from other trolley drivers.

This is what a day-to-day trolley looks like…

This Main Street one’s yellow, but there are other *pastel* colors like light purple, light blue, orange…and the Riverfront trolleys are longer

On the other hand, the Christmas Trolley is red and decorated with garlands, Christmas lights, bows, and a wreath.

There’s another city that gussies up their trolleys for the holidays. Jeff and I chased it down spotted it in Arkansas last December.

Stay tuned for a Christmas decoration that’s taller than me, and I’m well over 5 feet. It’s definitely not a tree either.
