REVIEW: Carrot Bundt Cake & Wild Berry Smoothie

Heaven Sent Desserts. The name alone conjures up pleasant, happy things. This is what I was expecting when I stepped foot inside this bakery and started peering in the glass display cases. And maybe, just maybe, I was expecting more from a place that’s known amongst the dessertie community.
I ordered a Wild Berry Smoothie & finally decided on a Carrot Bundt Cake. Between the Mixed Berry Tart and Summer Solstice…and Carrot Bundt Cake, it was tough choice. Both the smoothie and Carrot Cake were decent. I’ve eaten enough carrot cake and it just didn’t quite hit the spot. And if you must know, I am holding out for the ultimate carrot cake, which in all likelihood will have pineapple as a key ingredient. Ugh, my carrot cake cravings will NOT be denied. Sometime soon I’ll have to make my way to Claim Jumper Restaurant for theirs.
