June is…
June is National Iced Tea Month. And because it’s usually the alcoholic beverages that get all the attention like all the beer commercials during Super Bowl and of course Soda Wars (I personally prefer Pepsi but we’ll save that debate for another day), I’m giving my favorite Iced Tea drinks their props, that’s slang for “due praises”. :p
I rarely drink alcohol (a good year would be one, maybe two, okay three wine coolers or mixed drinks) and I occasionally do the Dew. So that leaves me with water, juices, drinks like bottled iced tea, as well as Costco and Jack in the Box smoothies (unfortunately, there are no Jack in the Box restaurants in Memphis). This girl–me!– is pretty much alcohol and soda-free. Borrrring, I know. I get my excitement from, any wild guesses? Desserts, but you already knew that! (I bet you’re wondering why I bothered asking :p).
