REVIEW: Old Fashion Fudge Cake

Sometimes there’s a vibe you immediately feel when something’s right. Groups of people sitting outside talking. Inside, individuals were scattered about using their laptops or doing homework. The Living Room Coffeehouse near SDSU is the perfect coffeehouse, staying open as late as 2 a.m. They serve caffeine–er coffee, and oh yes, the desserts. The very reason I was there!
Everything in the two display cases looked fresh and tempting. After reviewing my choices not once, but twice, I selected the Old Fashion Fudge Cake. It just seemed to call out to me moreso than the others. Moist layers of chocolate cake, and the chocolate icing….oh my! Each bite practically melted in my mouth. I left before I talked myself into ordering another slice….it was that good!
